Carlie Barnett is the face and founder behind Recruit & Consult. 

Carlie’s passion for real estate started at a young age when she was hired as a weekend receptionist at a Central Coast real estate office. Since then, she has worked in both residential real estate and project marketing, performing roles in sales, administration, team management and business development. Carlie has worked with some of Australia’s most notable agencies, including McGrath, Ray White, and LJ Hooker.

Carlie has over twelve years of recruiting experience, recruiting for boutique start-up organisations and prop-tech companies right through to large-scale property developers. It was a move to London that saw Carlie commence her recruitment career, working with one of the UK's largest names in recruitment, Reed. During her time there, she worked her way up through the ranks, earning the title of ‘Number One Consultant’. And since then, she has held both management and director roles in the recruitment sector.

Carlie brings a unique and varied perspective to the recruitment industry having worked through varying business lifecycles and challenging economic environments, including the Global Financial Crisis right through to property booms.

It's this unique perspective combined with a wealth of industry experience that her business, Recruit & Consult, came to fruition and was launched in early 2019.
